Rams Sign Free-Agent Receiver Paul Jokisch

The Rams Wednesday announced the signing of free-agent wide receiver Paul Jokisch, a fifth-round draft choice of the San Francisco 49ers in 1987.

Jokisch, 6 feet 7 inches and 230 pounds, was released by the 49ers after training camp and then signed by the Houston Oilers. He was bothered by a groin injury all season.

Ram Coach John Robinson coached Jokisch, who attend the University of Michigan, in the 1987 Senior Bowl.

“We just want to take a look at him,” Robinson said.
