Robert M. Loch, formerly senior vice president of Southern California Gas Co., has been named president of Pacific Interstate Co.’s three operating units: Pacific Interstate Transmission, Pacific Interstate Offshore and Pacific Offshore Pipeline. Pacific Interstate purchases Canadian gas, which it supplies to its affiliate, SoCal Gas. The appointment is effective Aug. 1. Loch will also serve as senior vice president of Pacific Interstate. He replaces Frederick E. John, who is returning to SoCal Gas as senior vice president in charge of gas supply, marketing and regulatory affairs.
