Stephen Foster of Australia won the Chicago edition of the U.S. Bud Light Triathlon series, finishing the 1.5K swim, the 40K bike and 10K run in 1 hour 48 minutes 3 seconds. Foster, in sixth place going into the run, completed that segment of the race in 32:02.
Mike Pigg of Arcata, Calif., was second in 1:48:38.
In the women’s division, Joy Hansen, 29, of Jeffersonville, Pa., won in 2:01:25.
