Composers Are Meeting at Colorado Symposium

The Telluride Institute hosts the first Composer-to-Composer gathering in the Sheridan Opera House in Telluride, Colo., today through Sunday. An international group of composers--including Morton Subotnick, Denys Bouliane, Lepo Sumera, Peter Sculthorpe, Terry Riley and Lou Harrison--will discuss topics such as “Global Ethnicity and European Orchestral Tradition,” see demonstrations of new technological tools and offer new works in public concerts.
