From the Life Imitates Art (Badly) file: A stunt man who once portrayed a Drug Enforcement Agency operative in “Miami Vice” has been convicted in federal court of smuggling 39 tons of marijuana into Florida. A jury decided that Thomas Bahr, 33, and six other people were involved in a drug-smuggling ring that brought the marijuana into Naples, Fla., between May, 1985, and February, 1986. The conviction came despite testimony from “Vice” star Don Johnson’s stunt double, who said Bahr was too successful in fake vice to get involved in the real thing.
