For the year, Syncor earned $4 million, or 38 cents a share, up 25% from the $2.4 million, or 21 cents a share, earned in the year-earlier period. Sales in the fiscal year rose 6.5% to $104.7 million.
The Chatsworth company, which operates a chain of pharmacies that supply radioactive drugs to hospitals, said its improved results came despite increased competition and expansion costs.
