Fleetwood Enterprises Inc. reported a 34% increase in net income to $19 million for its first quarter, compared to the year-ago period. Revenue was $426.7 million, the highest for any quarter in the company’s history and a 17% increase over last year. The Riverside-based firm, which produces motor homes, travel trailers and manufactured housing, attributed its performance to record sales and an additional week in the quarter.
