Robert L. Sharp has been named vice president for Asian business-Western United States at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. Sharp will transfer to Los Angeles from Tokyo, where he was president of Manufacturers Hanover Trust Bank, a subsidiary of the international banking group.
