Playing Together the Key to Success for Pater Noster’s Football Fortunes

Team camaraderie, Pater Noster football Coach Andy Herrera says, is a factor his team lacked last season. But, he says, this year’s team is different.

“We’re much more in tune with each other,” he said. But last year’s 0-10 showing was anything but harmonic.

This season, which starts at home against Lutheran Orange on Saturday at 2 p.m., Herrera wants fullback Javier Aguilar, flanker Gerald Razo and quarterback Robert Rivera to set the tempo. Razo was all-league and the team’s most valuable player last year.
