Local News in Brief : Politics : Breakfast to Launch Bush’s Latino Campaign

Vice President George Bush, who joined a Disneyland parade on Labor Day, will be back in Orange County again Wednesday for an invitation-only breakfast with Latino leaders.
The sit-down breakfast for 200 to 300 people, which will begin at 8 a.m. at Moreno’s restaurant in Orange, is expected to serve as the national kickoff for Bush’s Latino campaign, local Republican Party activists said.
The vice president’s host will be Orange County Supervisor Gaddi H. Vasquez. Nando Zapeda and Bob Miranda of the Hispanic Republican Committee of Orange County also will participate.
