Chadwick 37, LaJolla Country Day 0--The Dolphins opened the season by crushing visiting Country Day on Saturday, rolling up 416 total yards behind the passing of Greg O’Riordan, who threw for 278 yards and 3 touchdowns in 8-man competition.
The Dolphins led only 13-0 at the half but later put the game out of reach with three touchdowns. Receiver John Sheldon caught 6 passes for 78 yards and 3 TDs, including a 35-yarder. Wenny Miao provided the running game, getting 101 yards on 17 carries, including two short scoring bursts.
The Dolphins play next at Buckley in Sherman Oaks.
