Radburn (Rad) Robinson, a baritone in the King’s Men Quartet, which for 13 years was heard on the old “Fibber McGee and Molly” radio program, died Tuesday in Las Vegas.
Ken Darby, now the sole survivor of the group that also included Bud Linn and Jon Dodson, said Robinson was 78 and died of a heart attack.
The King’s Men also were featured with the Paul Whiteman Orchestra, said Darby, who later founded another singing group he named for himself.
Survivors include his wife, Tensie, a son, a daughter and four grandchildren.
