Dropping the Big One

After reading “Paul Bartel Sticks It to the Idle Rich” (by Patrick Goldstein, Sept. 25), I’ve decided that the director will need some luck if his new movie truly is a scathing attack on Beverly Hills and not just another playful nudge, wink wink, from Hollywood.
I discovered from my own bombing run over that easy target that Beverly Hills has pals in high places. My recent record, “Nuke Beverly Hills,” is about as scathing as you can get. And it ran into a stone wall. It even had morning radio--the so-called shock jockies--running for cover: “We’d never play that!”
By the way, does Bartel’s “Scenes From the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills” need a megaton blast for its sound track?
