The letter of George Brown (“Conservatives,” Sept. 26) completely misstates the reality of the situation. Conservatives in the Soviet Union want more control of people by government. Conservatives in United States want less control of people by government. Conservatives in U.S. want to restore and keep the freedoms won in our struggle with the government of England. Conservatives in U.S.S.R. want to restore and keep the control of the people in the hands of the Communist Party!
