Cale Yarborough, the only stock car driver to win three consecutive Winston Cup driving titles, announced he will retire at the end of the season.

“I just feel that it is time to do something else,” said Yarborough, 48, who will end his racing career Nov. 20 in the Atlanta Journal 500 at Atlanta. Yarborough said he would field a Winston Cup entry as a car owner.
