Voting on Auto Insurance Initiatives
I called my insurance agent recently to discuss adding a vehicle to my policy. During the conversation I was given a dissertation on why I should vote for either Propositions 104 or 106 (contingency fee limits for attorneys). I let him speak his mind and when he finished, I told him I am a voter in revolt and I would vote for Proposition 103. He seemed quite concerned and began to explain the “disasters” of Proposition 103 passing.
I can’t help but wonder, why so much concern for my vote on Proposition 103? Could it be because finally we have a proposition on the ballot in the public’s best interest? My vote stands--Proposition 103 is my answer to high rates.
