Moorpark Teams Race to 1-2 Finish at Mt. SAC

Paced by Laticia Melgoza’s fourth-place effort, Moorpark College placed 5 runners in the top 15 Friday and scored 40 points to win the women’s Division I race at the Mt. San Antonio College Invitational. Saddleback (122 points) was a distant second.
Melgoza clocked 20 minutes, 26 seconds over the 3-mile course and teammate Jennifer Ahlquist placed fifth in 20:35.
Chris Pressman placed seventh as Moorpark finished second behind Saddleback in the men’s race.
