Cardinal Acquisition Corp. raised its bid for Interco Inc., the nation’s largest maker of furniture and men’s shoes, to $74 per share from $70 per share . . . Select Entertainment Corp. said it agreed with Interlink, a New York-based financing and communications firm, to form a company that will acquire a majority interest and operated SelecTV pay television business in Los Angeles and elsewhere . . . Oakland-based American President Cos. launched a tender offer for 4 million shares or nearly 19% of its own common stock. The offer expires at midnight Nov. 14.
