Bomb Found Near Kiev

MOSCOW — Thirty thousand people were evacuated from a suburb of Kiev, capital of the Soviet Ukraine, after building workers discovered a 1,100-pound unexploded bomb, Moscow Radio reported Sunday.
Unexploded bombs dating from World War II are often found in Kiev. The radio said the bomb was dug up in Darnitsa, but it did not say when the incident took place.
