The all-Spanish Telemundo network and Nueva Vista Productions Inc. announced Monday that they will co-finance the construction of a new station in San Antonio, the nation’s fifth largest Latino market. If the FCC approves, the new Texas station will affiliate with Telemundo when construction is completed in June. It is expected to boost the network’s penetration of the national Latino market from 67% to 71.5%, network officials said.
