A 21-year-old UC San Diego student was in stable condition after she rolled her car early Friday while eastbound in the 1500 block of Camino del Rio South, police said.
Lara Taylor was taken to Mercy Hospital at 1:33 a.m., where she underwent surgery on her abdomen and neck, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Police said the car of Taylor, a senior at UCSD, rolled, hitting a telephone poll and a fence before she was thrown from it.
