Tennis Tournament Starts Today in San Clemente

Stan Smith and Roscoe Tanner meet tonight in the first round of the 4-day Prudential-Bache Grand Champions tournament at the Rancho San Clemente Tennis Club.
Grand Champions is a 35-and-over circuit for players who have won a Grand Slam event, played Davis Cup, earned more than a million dollars in prize money or were ranked No. 1 in their country.
Play begins at 1 p.m. today with Colin Dibley facing Frew McMillan.
