Poway 39, Chaminade 27--The Eagles were outscored, 19-6, in the second half in losing at Poway.

Greg Baumgartner’s 38-yard pass to Jeff Burdick late in the first half gave Chaminade (7-2) a 21-20 lead. Collin Havert scored the Eagles’ first 2 touchdowns, an 11-yard run that cut Poway’s lead to 13-7 and a 2-yard run with 11:27 remaining in the first half that put Chaminade ahead by a point.
