Kennedy 23, Chatsworth 0--Antiwaun Carter rushed for 103 yards and 1 touchdown as Kennedy shut out visiting Chatsworth (1-8, 1-5). Carter scored on a 1-yard run in the second quarter to give the Golden Cougars a 7-0 halftime lead.

Kennedy’s defense broke open a tight game when Bob Feldman blocked a punt out of the end zone for a safety with less than a minute left in the third quarter. Kennedy (6-4, 4-4) took over on the Chatsworth 31-yard line after the Chatsworth free-kick, and 2 plays later Jay Davis ran 21 yards for a touchdown.

Kennedy quarterback Tony Vasquez, replacing injured Tony Smets, completed 8 of 20 passes for 103 yards.
