A total of 333 vehicles started the 21st annual Presidente SCORE Baja 1000 off-road race in downtown Ensenada and nearby Ojos Negros in mild weather.
The 223 4-wheel-drive vehicles entered began the 704.5-mile race, which starts and ends in Ensenada behind the convention center downtown, while the 88 motorcycles, 18 all-terrain vehicles and 4 Odysseys took off from Ojos Negros, 25 miles east of Ensenada.
