Pacillas Has Perfect Night for Anaheim

Anaheim High School quarterback Danny Pacillas completed 8 of 8 passes for 199 yards and 4 touchdowns as the Colonists scored 5 first-half touchdowns en route to a 35-7 Orange League victory over Savanna Saturday night.
Anaheim (6-4, 4-1) will represent the Orange League as the second-place team in the Southern Section Division VI playoffs, which begin next week.
Anaheim’s Justin Wons caught touchdown passes of 28, 60 and 27 yards, and finished with 5 receptions for 185 yards to lead the Colonists.
Pacillas also connected with Anthony Perez for an 8-yard scoring pass to make the score 28-0 midway through the second quarter.
John Mountain, who led the Colonists’ rushing attack with 70 yards in 9 carries, scored on a 10-yard run for Anaheim’s final touchdown.
Savanna (1-9, 0-5) had trouble moving the ball throughout the game. The Rebels’ lone score came on a 25-yard pass from Carlos Robledo to Brandon Ingram with 7:50 to play.
