Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Ltd. of Australia have concluded a major agreement in which Burbank-based Warner will acquire 50% equity in Village Roadshow’s large film studio in Queensland, Australia. In addition to the studio, renamed the Warner/Village Roadshow Studio, the companies plan to develop a major theme park/studio tour in conjunction with the studio to be known as Warner World.
