Bradbury : Donation for Promoter
Lance Johnson, a neighbor of slain car race promoter Mickey Thompson, said he will donate the $11,250 commission he received for selling Thompson’s house to one of three funds.
Johnson, who works as both a real estate broker and a psychology teacher at Pasadena City College, sold the house for $900,000. He said he will donate his commission to a fund for the victim’s relatives, a reward fund, or a Mickey Thompson Museum.
Thompson and his wife, Trudy, were killed by unknown assailants on March 16. The killers are still at large.
