Drive-By Shooting Wounds Boy in Face

A 15-year-old Van Nuys boy was shot once in the face Wednesday in a drive-by shooting, Los Angeles police said.
The victim, who was not identified, was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center following the 7:30 p.m. shooting in the 6500 block of Fulton Avenue, authorities said. The boy was listed in stable condition.
There were no other injuries, police said.
The boy had been standing on a street corner with some friends when a single shotgun blast was fired from a car, police said.
