Transient’s Body Found in Balboa Park

The body of a 31-year-old transient was found in Balboa Park early Saturday morning, San Diego police said.
The body, which had several gunshot wounds, was discovered about 7 a.m. by a person feeding squirrels in a section of the park known as Redwood Circle, police spokesman Bill Robinson said, adding that an investigation is continuing.
