Costa Mesa police said Saturday that they are looking for an unidentified man who stabbed a 45-year-old man during an argument at a motorcycle swap meet at the Orange County Fairgrounds.
Lt. Alan Kent said the stabbing occurred at 9:35 p.m. Friday when the two men got into a fight at the fairgrounds’ Building 10.
He said the victim was stabbed once in the chest with a 6-inch knife and was listed in critical condition at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center.
Kent said police were not releasing the victim’s name.
The attacker was described as white, in his early to mid-30s, about 5 feet 8 and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing an aqua-green sweater and blue jeans.
