Richard W. Meyer, chairman of Pacific Inland Bancorp, has increased his stake slightly in the Anaheim bank holding company to 23%, according to a document recently filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Meyer, the largest single shareholder, previously had 22.2% of the company’s stock. He paid $51,875 for 10,500 shares he bought through open-market purchases since June at $4.75 to $5.25 a share. He has spent nearly $2.9 million for all the shares he has bought since the company was formed in March, 1984. The firm owns Pacific Inland Bank, an asset management firm called Trident Investment Management Inc. and an inactive venture capital firm called Pacific Inland Venture Corp.
