Three Victories Enough for Fullerton Wrestlers

Cal State Fullerton’s wrestling team made the most of three victories to defeat Fresno State, 19-17, in a Pac-10 dual meet at Fullerton Thursday night.
The Titans (2-2, 2-1) got their only victories from Martin Armendarez (158 pounds), Paul Reutzel (190) and David Jones (heavyweight). Fullerton also tied four matches.
Armendarez defeated Greg Lamoreaux, 8-6. Reutzel defeated Joe Romine, 16-8. Jones defeated Dan Telen, 20-8.
