Local News in Brief : Police Name Victim of Hit-And-Run Driver

Los Angeles police on Friday identified a pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run accident in North Hollywood as Felipe Mancha, 61, of North Hollywood.
Mancha was hit about 6:20 p.m. Thursday by a vehicle eastbound on Burbank Boulevard, east of Elmer Street, police said Friday. Mancha was dragged or thrown more than 100 feet, police said. His body was spotted by passing motorists.
No witnesses have been located, police said.
