Club Is Relocating

Things have cooled at Famous/Knott, the featured club in last Saturday’s Hot Spot column. Shari Famous tells The Times that Catherine, a champagne bistro, which occupied the lower floor of the building at 143 N. La Brea Ave., has been sold, and the entire facility will be occupied by the new owners.
Famous/Knott is now looking for a new location and expects to be in full swing again after the first of the year. People leaving name and address on the answering machine at (213) 658-6902 will be notified of the new location, Famous says.
