Local News in Brief : Lunada Building Project Approved
- Share via
The Palos Verdes Estates City Council has approved a grading application that will allow Chris Caras to begin a 5,000-square-foot addition to a commercial building in the Lunada Bay shopping area.
Neighbors who have opposed the project, saying it might create parking, drainage, noise and privacy problems, said they remain dissatisfied despite 21 conditions imposed by the council on Caras.
Before approving the permit Tuesday, the council tightened some of those conditions. It forbade Caras to do anything noisy between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., and he agreed to turn off air conditioning and eliminate janitorial activity between those hours.
