24,000 on Waiting Lists for 2 Mexico Airlines

MEXICO CITY — The country’s two major airlines are full for the holiday season and have 24,000 people on waiting lists for flights out of Mexico City, newspapers said Sunday.
The reports said Aeromexico and Mexicana are operating at 100% of capacity, moving 36,000 passengers a day. Although flights are full, people waited in long lines at the airport over the weekend trying to obtain tickets, they said.
