Thousand Oaks 76, La Canada 38--Behind Shani Smyth’s 39 points, the Lancers coasted past the Spartans.

Smyth made 18 of 26 field-goal attempts. Amy Chandler added 10 points and freshman Michelle Palmisano scored 8 points and had 9 assists for the Lancers (9-1).

Junior center Yoland Davidian scored a team-high 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for La Canada (1-8). Thousand Oaks plays Bakersfield Foothill in a second-round game at 8 p.m. Monday at Thousand Oaks High.

Channel Islands 60, Notre Dame 28--Danny Brooks paced the Raiders with 18 points. Channel Islands (7-4) plays Palmdale in a second-round game at 4 p.m. Monday at Newbury Park High.

Hueneme 46, Louisville 37--Mary Hudson scored 12 points for Louisville (2-5) at Newbury Park High, which plays Notre Dame in a consolation-bracket game at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Newbury Park High.

El Camino Real 61, Oxnard 40--Guards Lisa Huffaker and Cathy Balint each scored 18 points to lead El Camino Real (3-1). Huffaker also had 8 assists and 7 steals.

Forward Alexander Guidi and center Erika Collins combined for 21 rebounds for El Camino Real.

El Camino Real faces Las Vegas Rancho 2 Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Thousand Oaks High.

BOYS

Bell-Jeff 73, Blair 61--Senior forward Nick Sanderson scored 25 points to lead the Guards in a nonleague game at Bell-Jeff.

Bell-Jeff (8-1) took a 9-0 lead and cruised from there as Sanderson--who is averaging 21 points a game--scored in double figures for the ninth time. Greg Dunn added 23 points for Bell-Jeff.

Bell 61, St. Genevieve 58--Saul Serrano scored 16 of his game-high 28 points in the fourth quarter to lead Bell in the consolation final of the Bosco Tech tournament.

Marc Colon led St. Genevieve (5-3) with 12 points. Guards Mike Cassidy and Dara Kargari added 10 and 11 points, respectively.
