OKLAHOMA CITY — Jason Brady, the ailing teen-ager whose wish to visit Washington was granted last week, died Christmas night, family members said Monday.
Brady, 16, died at his home in Moore. Brady, the son of Robert and Irla Brady, suffered from Burkitt’s lymphoma and learned in early December that he had only a few weeks to live. He wanted to visit Washington and the Make-a-Wish Foundation in Oklahoma City arranged for the visit.
In Washington, Brady met with President-elect George Bush, Oklahoma Sens. Don Nickles and David Boren and appeared on the NBC-TV “Today Show” with Willard Scott.
