Loyola Marymount to Play Marist

Loyola Marymount will play its first home game in 3 weeks tonight when the Lions are host to Marist College of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., in a 7:30 nonconference men’s basketball game at Gersten Pavilion.
The Lions (2-4) are averaging 109 points, led by Hank Gathers at 31.5 points and 14 rebounds per game, Jeff Fryer at 22.3 points and Enoch Simmons at 19.8.
Marist (3-3) is 0-3 on the road. The Red Foxes are led by Miroslav Pecraski, a 6-foot 11-inch center from Yugoslavia who averages 22 points and 11 rebounds.
Loyola will be without high-scoring guard Bo Kimble, who is scheduled to have arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Thursday morning.
