Santa Ana : Awards Banquet to Honor Latino Women

The Santa Ana Council of the League of United Latin American Citizens will hold its Hispanic Women Recognition Awards Banquet on Saturday.
The banquet will honor Anaheim High School Principal Maggie Carrillo Mejia, dentist M. Marlene Godoy, businesswoman Maria Hernandez, English Today Institute director Maria Rose Ibarra-Lopez, Project PRIDE coordinator Jenny Rios and Yolanda Serrano, a legal secretary.
The event will be at 6 p.m. at Saddleback Inn Travelodge, 1660 E. 1st St., Santa Ana. Cost is $35 per person. For more information, call Gloria Craig, (714) 542-9348.
