Laguna Hills : Post Office on Wheels Opens in Leisure World

A “post office on wheels” opened for business last week in Leisure World.
The new postal service consists of three 2 1/2-ton postal vans to be parked from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Clubhouse 3 on Mondays and at Clubhouse 5 on Fridays. Nearly all services available at post office retail lobbies will be available in the mobile vans, including first-class mail; express mail; priority mail; parcel post; certified, registered and insured mail; stamps; money orders, and international services.
Santa Ana field division Postmaster Hector G. Godinez said the aim was to make postal business more convenient for residents of Leisure World.
