Chatsworth Medical Firm Receives $590,000 Grant

International Remote Imaging Systems said it has received a $500,000 grant, with initial funding of $321,334, from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases.

The company, a Chatsworth maker of medical equipment, said the grant is to be used to develop a system used to differentiate white blood cells.
