Mack Trucks Lays Off 200 at Assembly Plant

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Mack Trucks Inc. said it will lay off about 200 workers at its Macungie assembly plant in early August.
The layoffs “reflect current market conditions as well as the balancing of inventory levels,” said Mack spokesman James Santanasto.
