For television viewers, the Tony Awards show is always a winner. Thank God for the one grand night of the year with pure fulfilling entertainment.
When I watch this caliber of show I realize how plastic and boring the Academy Awards show is with its aerosol speeches. In Hollywood everybody wants to be the star. In New York the stage actor is in a family.
