Orange : Dedication Scheduled for Children’s Shelter

COPES-- Child Or Parental Emergency Services Inc.--will conduct a dedication ceremony today for its third shelter for abused children.
The ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m. at 802 S. Fairmont Way, Orange. Tours of the new home will begin at 5 p.m. and refreshments will be served.
COPES is a nonprofit social service agency formed 10 years ago by the late Dr. Emma Wharton and other professional women to shelter young children at risk of abuse. It also offers parenting classes and psychological evaluations of children.
