International Lease Finance Corp.: The Beverly Hills company said second-quarter net income climbed to $15.7 million, up 23% from a year ago. Revenue was up 58% to $87.1 million. The company, which leases aircraft, credited the improved results to its larger fleet as well as to higher lease rates on new rentals. It noted, however, that partially mitigating the bottom-line impact of increased revenue was a higher interest expense.
