Airline Finds a Friend: USAir Group Inc. has found an investor to buy 12% to 14% of the company’s shares in a move that could block a hostile takeover. Warren Buffett, an Omaha billionaire, said he agreed to buy a new issue of the company’s stock for $358 million. USAir stock has risen steadily in the past three weeks as takeover speculation has swept the airline industry.
