Cain Bogeys 18th, Falls Into Four-Way Tie

RANCHO MURIETA, Calif. — John Paul Cain bogeyed the final hole Saturday to drop into a four-way tie for the lead in the second round of the $350,000 Rancho Murieta Senior Gold Rush.
Cain, who began the day with a two-stroke lead after shooting a 67 Friday, shot a par 72 and was tied with Ken Still, Dave Hill and Quinton Gray at five-under-par 139 after 36 holes on Rancho Murieta Country Club’s North Course.
Gray shot a 68, while Hill had a 70 and Still a 71. Chick Evans and Orville Moody were at 140.
Chi Chi Rodriguez was next at 141, with four more players at 142.
