Jon Leach Advances in Grass Court Event

Jon Leach of Laguna Beach advanced in the United States Tennis Assn. International Boys’ Grass Court Tennis Championships Tuesday in Philadelphia.

Leach, who is seeded second, defeated Gus Giltner of East Lansing, Mich., 6-0, 6-2, in the second round. Carlos Bustos of Coto de Caza, the third-seeded player, defeated Max Eisenbud of Short Hills, N.J., 6-2, 6-7, 6-1.
